last night was a very interesting night. what started off with art talk ended up being a bonding session which i haven't had in a really long time. my friend and i were discussing about a recent exhibition that she had which was collections of artworks by local female artists. it's very rare to see exhibitions by female artists today. there's a school of thought which says that art has no gender, however it's ironic to see that it's being dominated by men. perhaps it's because women have other responsibilities like their family they have to put first. but they don't give up. one of the reasons why is passion which keeps them going.

so, i asked my friend, "what keeps you going with what you do?" she told me that though she may not have the easiest job in the world but to be able to talk to people who are experienced and are passionate about what they do keeps her going. experience it's something that no one can take away. then i asked myself the same question. there are days when i feel like giving up and leave everything behind, then i think about how much i love my family and my own future. my parents have sacrificed so much for me to be able to be where i am now. so, i try and do the same for them. i know may not be the all-star daughter but i try my best to do well where i can. i guess it's part of growing up when you realize these things. okay, i should stop taking life seriously.

if there was one thing i have learned from losing someone you love is that you move on. or at least you try because moving on is really difficult. you do your own thing, keep moving forward. there would be those days when it hits you real hard that you cannot have that person back no matter what and when it does, the pain is just so unbearable. but it's alright, you pick yourself up again and you tell yourself that things will be alright and it will be eventually.

apart from that, being with those who make you laugh and smile every day makes you a okay again. i believe being around those you love helps a lot in the process of mending your heart.

i can can write a 2500 words report but he still won't accept it.
he knows i want it so bad but i don't think this is the right time anymore.
i just want to wait till the time comes and then we can talk about it so i know that it's for real.
so i gave him the same recycled excuse...... i think i need a new one.

but apart from that, i'm really happy we went out today. i can't remember the last time i spent time with him. but with him, a good news always come with a bad news. pfftt.... and spending time with him means that i get to eat good food. yum!
